Rockpots was formed by Simon Hart (formally the owner of The Terrapin Trucking Co. in Crouch End,North London) & North West London ceramic artist Samantha Saville,in Autumn 2009 a range of pottery teapots and china mugs were introduced, combining contemporary & classic rock art album covers digitally reproduced on a range of high quality ceramic products, the first being a hand painted teapot featuring the Gong album cover "Flying Teapot" this was followed by a Gong "Camembert Electrique" Cheesplate and a range of china mugs featuring artwork from bands : Gong, Jethro Tull, Grateful Dead, Steeleye Span & Man, recently the range has been expanded to feature classic 60's UK & US Psychedelic Poster Artwork. Sam has now gone her seperate way but still continues to work with Rockpots & you can find her at : www.letsgetcrafty.co.uk meanwhile Simon is keeping busy by coming up with some new and hopefully interesting idea's for the range - keep checking back for updated news.
